I graduated this year with a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts, where I majored in Musical Theatre which also included Jazz and Modern Expressive.  During my three years in drama school, I was involved in many plays, musicals and short films and scored main roles. I also studied vocal and guitar for 2 years and have performed as back-up singer for a few Australian Bands.

I am also currently studying a Diploma of Education – High School. I love choreographing and have been lucky enough to co-choreograph a few musicals at ATYP and NIDA. I teach children dance, singing and drama for “In the Spotlight”.

Acrobatics, Tricks & Technique

My love for gymnastics started when I entered the gym at the age of 6, spending many hours training, I knew then that I was born to be a gymnast. I competed at State and National levels in the sport and started to coach a little when I was 15. By the age of 18, I had studied and attained my coaching qualifications at a Level 2 standard, which allows me to coach gymnasts up to Level 10.

During my time coaching competitive gymnastics, I took teams to National competitions all over Australia. I started teaching Acrobatics for “In the Spotlight” in 2006 and in 2010 I started teaching a new Tricks and Technique class working with the Showgroups.

Ballet

I have recently completed a three year Bachelor of Dance Degree at the Victorian College of the Arts- Melbourne University which required me to train full-time Monday to Friday from 9 until 6 most days. I am a very energetic, happy and artistic person with great skills and a very open mind, and will accept any challenge put in front of me.

My key objective in life is to be a good person and a positive influence on those who surround me. One day I hope to make my way to the Theatre on Broadway as an entertainer. I have been fortunate to gain experience in a number of shows as a chorus member , namely, ‘The Little Shop of Horrors’ (2001), ‘Grease’ (2005), on television ‘The John Foreman Show’, ‘The Singing Office’ (2007) and more recently performing live with The Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Victoria in ‘The Merry Widow’ (2008) and ‘The Arcadians’ (2010).  I look forward to tackling whatever challenges life throws my way in the upcoming year of dance.
